The majority of people have heard about and perhaps even visited a few UNESCO World Heritage Sites that are found in nearly all countries around all over the globe. These are sites that are of environmental or cultural importance (or both) which we should preserve for the future generation.
Heritage is what we have left from the past, the things we have in the present and the legacy we leave to the next generation. Our natural and cultural heritage are inexpensive sources of life and the inspiration.” The UNESCO World Heritage Website
To date, I’ve visited more than 100 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, across Europe and further. Every time I went to one I was amazed by the beauty of it and I was impressed by the rich history and stunning beauty of each one.
